LAMB OF GOD's drummer is being honored in a magazine.

LAMB OF GOD's Chris Adler received Modern Drummer's 2005 Readers' Poll award for "Recognition of Outstanding Contribution to the Drum/Percussion Community." Chris spoke at length about his take on drumming and performed several songs from the band's latest CD, "Ashes of the Wake" — including "Hourglass", "Now You've Got Something to Die For" and "Blood of the Scribe" — with his brother Willie Adler (LAMB OF GOD guitarist) during the Modern Drummer Festival Weekend 2005, held late last month at Prudential Hall at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Chris also performed several snippets from a progressive Internet side project involving guitarist Ron Jarzombek (WATCHTOWER). The event was professionally video-taped by Hudson Music for a DVD release in the fall of 2005.

LAMB OF GOD will issue their first DVD, "Killadelphia", on June 21 via Epic Records. "Killadelphia" consists primarily of footage filmed during the band's two performances at Philadelphia's Trocadero on October 16-17, 2004. Directing the shoot was Doug Spangenberg of High Roller Studios. Extras will include hours of uncensored behind-the-scenes footage taken throughout the "Ashes of Wake" touring cycle.
