ANTHRAX's reunited classic lineup of Joey Belladonna (vocals), Dan Spitz (guitar), Frank Bello (bass), Scott Ian (guitar) and Charlie Benante (drums) will be taking the place of DREAM THEATER on the Gigantour after the Toronto date and will be playing the last five shows of the tour. Long-running San Francisco Bay Area thrashers EXODUS will be teaming up with 3 INCHES OF BLOOD and CRISIS for a North American tour beginning on October 1. LOSA will provide additional support between October 1 and October 18; WATCH THEM DIE will fill the opening slot between October 19 and November 6.
GOD DETHRONED, BYZANTINE, NIGHTRAGE, EPOCH OF UNLIGHT, HELL WITHIN and LILITU will be teaming up for the 2005 edition of the "International Extreme Music Festival" North American tour. The five-week trek, which is scheduled to begin in September, will be presented by Metal Edge and Metal Maniacs magazines in cooperation with BLABBERMOUTH.NET and Blistering.com. Exact cities and dates — which will include stops in Mexico and Colombia — will be announced soon.
