For all you lucky bastards in the UK / New Vision Bleak

Swedish vikings Amon Amarth will embark on a headlining tour of the U.K. and Ireland for the first time. Also appearing on the bill is Finland's Finntroll. The dates are as follows:

Apr. 14 - Nottingham, UK @ Rock City
Apr. 15 - Dublin, IRE @ Temple Bar
Apr. 16 - Cork, IRE @ An Cruiscin Lan
Apr. 17 - Glasgow, SCO @ Cathouse
Apr. 19 - Manchester, UK @ The Club Academy

-Metal Storm

You guys are beyond lucky. Amon Amarth are one of my favorite Viking acts...and hell, Finntroll. It's a hell of a show.
Go if you can...and if you are like me and stuck in North America...you can cry yourself to sleep.

The Vision Bleak are busy pre-producing their third, as-yet-untitled album.
According to the band, the follow-up to "Carpathia" is going to be "more guitar-based, harder, but also more dramatic and melodic", promising their most sinister work to date. In early February, they will enter Klangschmiede Studio E for the fine-tuning of the recordings and the mix for an indefinite period of time.

This makes me very happy. There is nothing better than over-dramatic pirate metal. It makes me was to swig on a bottle of rum and sail the high seas in search of buried treasure. Just another album to look forward too!
